Memberships, Licenses and Accreditation
SSL is
- Nevada Authorization
Shepherd School of Language in Las Vegas is currently authorized to offer ESL program. Our ESL Programs are exempt from licensure from the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education.
- California Authorization
Shepherd School of Language in Las Vegas is an extension of Shepherd Technology Training School (STTS) in California. The State of California, through the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, has fully approved the school's ESL and test preparation curriculum through STTS.
- Certificate of Completion
At the completion of the Intensive English Programs, students are awarded a Certificate of Completion indicating that they have successfully completed their program of study.

SSL's mission is to equip students of English from various backgrounds with the language
skills necessary to meet their future goals and provide them with a memorable
cross-cultural experience.
SSL will accomplish this mission by maintaining a learning environment
mutually satisfying to students and staff members, specifically:
